MLM Success – Home Based Business Why It Makes Sense In 2010 – 2011
The Home Based Business industry is currently booming like never before and I think there are some good reasons for it:
Home Based Business in Today’s Economy
#1. Today’s economy: is reason enough to run to the Home Based Business Arena shows that the traditional model of getting a college degree and then getting a job working for someone else for 30 or 40 yrs and depending on an employer to take care of you is outdated. We have seen people’s lives dramatically affected by the current economy and fall victim to the outdated way of providing a living for themselves and their families.
#2. The Home Based Business specifically the Direct Sales/Multilevel Marketing/Internet Marketing business is exploding. One reason is that for the first time people can see that having 100% control of their income is the way to go. When you really look at the options..Your income is based on your efforts or Your income is based on some scale weighed against other people in your given profession irrespective of the effort and work ethic just based on them having the same job title as you. I kind of think that a lot of people are fed up.
#3. The exchange of money; Money comes from one place, other people. Everyday all day long billions of dollars are exchanging hands from people who are not so smart to people who are smarter. The great Jim Rohn says that if you want to make significant money in any industry you must increase your value. The most effective way to increase your value is through education. Anyone who is seen as a subject matter expert is usually compensated handsomely for lending their expertise. People want to do business with experts, with those who know what they’re talking about. Find people who have what you want and learn from them, you can’t learn from those who have what you currently have or who are basically on the same level in life as you are.
Home Based Business Success Equation
Here’s my equation for success: Education + Application will lead to Expertise. When your Expertise has an opportunity to meet a need that will equate to your value increasing and your value will determine how many of these…$$$$ will accompany your brand.
#4.The Community of Entrepreneurs: I can’t put enough value on the community of people who are pursuing their dreams of being home based business owners and how we provide valuable insights into the how to’s of getting this done. I’ve met some some great individuals who I’ve learned a lot from and they were willing to share. My boss at my job was never willing to show me how to do his job, hmm I wonder why? This article your reading is an example of content that’s available to you via this community. Most, well 99% of what I’ve learned has been from others in this community who were willing to offer free value that helped me a great deal in my home based business owner journey.
#5. Satisfaction: I can’t speak for you but I’ve had positions where it was my responsibility to train the newest employee. In all honesty I try to have fun in anything that I do and enjoy myself but training new people can be a drag for various reasons, personality conflicts, they may lack work ethic, they just may not be a good fit and it’s tough to pour all that energy into someone and have it not work out, especially when your trying to make an impression on the boss. However the biggest reason is most companies don’t compensate you for training someone. In the Home Based Business industry it seems to be a pretty accepted industry practice to compensate you for training and getting people promoted as an incentive to recruit more people. In this industry you can be directly responsible for helping someone reach heights financially they otherwise would never had seen. Imagine someone joining your home based business and after training them you get to see them blossom and transform into a leader that is sought after for their brand and the value it brings. Wouldn’t it be the coolest to see that happen? Wouldn’t that give you a real sense of satisfaction?
