MLM Success – The Battle for Business Ownership!

I was driving back home from the store mid-day Monday, my off-day and it struck me again, how wonderful it feels to be free from the pressure of my job. Now that’s a temporary reprise because as I stated it’s my day off and I’m not free from my job yet (that’s coming in short order) and I will go back on tomorrow but for the moment it feels great. The other thought that occurred to me was how much at least for me, of a battle it is to maintain the mindset that it takes to cross over from employee to full time business owner. Especially when you have a family that depends on you for financial support.
I use the term “battle” because, from the time that I wake up in the morning like you I’m inundated with choices or decisions that must be made and some are made on auto-pilot. Most of those choices are what got me where I am and not where I want to be, so the fight now is to change my thinking in such a way that leads to better decisions and choices which will lead to a more successful path for me and my family.
Easier said than done you see because I’ve developed habits that are far easier to follow than they are to break. This is where a decision must take place; I must decide to begin with the end in mind. When I wake up and those habits are saying to me come on let’s go, you know how we do things, just like we always do, stop playing let’s do what we do so we can continue to get what we got, I’ve got to say that I see a different end! I see a different end because I’ve set some goals for myself, I’ve written them down, I’ve reviewed them before I went to sleep last night and I just read them again to myself to remind me of the vision.
Becoming a business owner or entrepreneur does not start with a business license, tax-Id number or signing with a MLM company (sorry, not intended to offend). Those are only things or tools that may or may not be required depending on different variables, but becoming a business owner starts with a “decision” to develop the mindset of a successful business owner.
Now when I say mindset, successful people “decide” or “choose” to think in ways that lead to their success. Not a lot of time wasted on “stinking thinking” or thinking that isn’t productive or that has a negative end. Leaders across industry lines understand the power of the mind and use it to achieve the unachievable to those who don’t understand this concept.
I’ve made a conscious “decision” to use or leverage my time following proven methods to maximize my thought life. The transformation is measurable and quite amazing actually and it’s not just about finance or business. Other areas of my life have been impacted in a very powerful and positive way. I’ve grown financially yes but even more so personally. I can’t emphasize enough that to change your paradigm you must transform your thinking to fit the end that you have in mind and more often than not, it will be a battle but ask yourself is the prize worth the fight? Also, it’s important to note that it’s a choice and no one can choose for you.

Thanks for the compliment bro, it's a daily task to maintain a proper mindset. That's why you must be vigilant about investing in yourself.
Thanks bro, as you know this growth is an ongoing process and I still have soo much to learn, but I do see some progress in myself and it makes me feel good to see it. It also feels good to have famliy take notice as well.
Thanks Love ya bro,
I remember the feeling of loving My day off, then having to return to that jail, which is some jobs. You really can project an emotion Roger, it brought back some bad memories.
For that one reason alone, anyone who reads this post should think long and hard about what this article is really telling You.
Again Roger, very nice,

Great post. Thanks
I understand where you’re coming from with this. I get that great feeling of freedom on my off days as well. But as you said we have to develop the mindset of a successful person in order to turn our dreams into a reality. I didn’t really understand this at first, but from experience and years of failures and successes, I now have a better understanding of why the leaders in my organization focused on this. Thanks for sharing!
Have A Happy New Years!!

Tanisha, I feel you on the working/sleep/business thing. It’s a challenge but really what isn’t a challenge that’s worth having? My kids are a challenge but they are worth it, so is my marriage, so is life. You must have balance though or things can get a little crazy.
Love the support, thanks!
Speaking of sleep. I have not yet left my job, doing so in May. But I’m a full time MBA student and I’m starting my own business but the mindset is key and I love the positive energy I get from reading your posts. May you continue to excel in life.
Take Care
